Leans (protein), Greens (veggies), and RDLs (Romanian Dead Lifts—a weight-lifting move) started as a Facebook Group dedicated helping friends make healthy life choices and changes. In the summer of 2013 I lost 5% body fat and 17 pounds in 5 weeks as part of a challenge at my gym—212 Fitness. I did this solely through eating leans and greens and weight lifting/conditioning—no fad diets, just plain old smart work. I wanted to see if I could do it on my own and started this group to help. During the first 5 weeks of 2014 I lost an additional 11 pounds and 2% body fat.
Over the course of this second Clean Eating Sprint there were so many great pieces of insight that by the time I was ready for my third sprint I knew it was time to move this to it’s own website (probably after I’d scrolled through the entire group—again—to find that one post about that one thing…).
This is a place for positive encouragement and we welcome anyone who is ready to change to or maintain a healthy lifestyle. Please feel free to request an invite to the Facebook Group (Leans, Greens & RDLs)—this is a closed (private) group where people can safely express their challenges and triumphs.
